My Contract with the People of the South West

There have been many good things that have come out of Scotland (and unfortunately some not so good, including the current and immediate past prime ministers) , but one of the most interesting things I have seen during this campaign is the idea of a contract between a candidate and the voters. I've taken the original and adapted it slightly, and here it is - my contract with you, the people of the South West.

I've signed up to the contract on the left, and I'm happy to be bound by it (unlike the Government, who weaseled their way out of their Lisbon Treaty Referendum promises in court by claiming that "A manifesto promise is incapable of giving rise to a legally binding contract with the electorate.")

None of the terms of the contract are unreasonable - but how many other Candidates are willing to give these commitments to you?

On 4th June, the choice is yours - liars or people who will only make promises they will keep. Vote for people who will represent YOUR interests, not their own or those of their party. VOTE JURY TEAM!!

(hat-tip to Alan Wallace, Jury Team Scotland)
